This game features extravagant PvPvE gameplay with melee and rogue-lite elements, as players try to survive a horrible world from its monsters and other players who also arrived when you did. Also has over-the-top blood and gore, insane action, and an overall fun look to the game. Let It Die: Inferno launches on PS5 on December 3rd, 2025.
Following up, we have the reveal of a brand new game titled Chronoscript: The Endless End, a metoridvania game that has you playing as an editor, trapped inside of a book without an ending. Battling through page after page, hoping to find an ending to this endless story, you press on to free yourself from this tired tale, all while journeying through this impressive-looking game. Chronoscript: The Endless End is set to launch on PS5 next year.

It also comes in black or white. These speakers launch next year at select retailers.
We then get a sneak peek at some Plsystation Plus games for October 2025, including Goat Simulator 3, Alan Wake II, and Cocoon. This month looks to be better than a lot of the previous months PlayStation has offered for its program.
Next up, we have a surprise announcement that Gran Tourismo 7 is receiving its Spec III update in December of this year, announced by Kazunori Yamauchi himself. This update will receive two new tracks, 8 new cars, and a load of new features for the game, such as data logging, a new collector level cap increase, and tons more. Gran Tourismo 7 is out now for PS4 and PS5, but the new update comes to the game in December.
Next up, we have a surprise new limited edition controller based on PlayStation’s long-standing action franchise, God of War, to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Personally, the controller just looks like a white controller with Kratos’s iconic red line, but it does look pretty clean. While others are asking for the older games remastered for the PS5, this looks like a good start to achieving that goal.
For the last announcement of the stream, Sony and Insomniac Games have finally revealed the first look at their previously announced Marvel’s Wolverine game, a game based on the iconic Marvel character. Featuring non-stop action that’s bound to give this game an M rating, featuring decapitation, deaths, and blood for days, alot different than their previous Spider-Man and Ratchet and Clank games. We also get to see iconic characters like Omega Red, Mystique, and a Sentinel, and we get to see places like Canada, Japan, and even Madripoor, showcasing that there's more to this world than we were let on to believe. From the people behind the game, we get to see a behind-the-scenes look at the recently shown off trailer. From concept art shown, to the voice of Wolverine: Liam McIntyre, a look behind the character he’s playing, and even a look at the gameplay itself, from combat, models, and tons more. Marvel’s Wolverine launches exclusively on PS5 in Fall of 2026.
In conclusion, this recent State of Play showcased things people have been asking for a long time, and showcased new stuff that people would be interested in trying out. From games like Marvel’s Wolverine, to Chronoscript: The Endless End, and even to such titles as Sauros, there's something for everyone. Although the speakers they showed off, while cool looking, could have been shown off on their own, the price they’ll be might drive people away. Despite the new hardware, though, I would like to say that this showcase had more good than bad, and that’s not exactly a bad thing.
